With over 15 years experience in the electrical industry & having established and developed electrical contracting company Charnick Electrical for over 10 years, Leroy Charnick founded Gecko Solar to focus his team’s efforts on building on the renewable energy uptake within Bristol & the South West & committing to design & install Solar PV & Electrical Energy Storage Systems to the highest electro-technical standards.

Having taught electrical vocational qualifications at City of Bristol College, including apprenticeships and higher national qualifications, Leroy is well versed in the finer details of electrical design & installation, this wealth of experience is brought to each installation that Gecko Solar takes on.

As both NIC EIC approved contractors & MCS certified installers this means that our design & installation work has been assessed as meeting the exacting criteria that both industry leading schemes set out, allowing the client to have confidence in the low-carbon technology they invest in.
